About Us
In 2024, after working together for more than a decade, Guy Johnson and Cynthia Palmerin decided to continue their work on advancing more equitable policies and practices by creating the Equity Impact Network (EIN).
At EIN, we collaborate closely with community-based, BIPOC-led nonprofit advocacy groups that focus on racial equity, community organizing, and policy change. We focus on the intersection of policies with practices, structural elements with adaptive elements, and resource flows with relationships. Our partners in this work have included State Educational Agencies, regional and state-based professional organizations and networks, grassroots-based community organizations, parent advocacy groups, state legislators, youth-focused organizations, and others.
We pride ourselves in working effectively with a wide range of partners, at varying levels of expertise, resource availability, and organizational capacity.
